The Token
$20/year
At the Les Escoumins Dive Center, the Token is more than just a way to support the base and its operations. Collect one each year and turn it into a keepsake that grows in value.
Your annual contribution helps maintain a safe, functional and welcoming environment for the entire diving community at Les Escoumins, one of Quebec’s premier scuba diving destinations.
It helps support:
- 🚿 The installation and maintenance of an outdoor shower (New for 2026) and a rinse tank
- 🪑 The use and maintenance of benches reserved exclusively for divers (New for 2026)
- 🗓️Extended opening hours at the Dive Base to give you greater flexibility (New for 2026)
- 🛒 The use of wheelbarrows to transport your equipment
- 🛟 Ongoing safety measures, including an AED, an oxygen kit and qualified staff to provide emergency assistance
- 🌊 Daily tide information
- 🤿 Pre-dive briefings and information provided by our guides to help you plan your independent dives
- 🔧 Assistance with minor equipment issues
- 🔐 Safekeeping of your personal belongings, including your wallet, cellphone and car keys
- 🔋 Battery charging (dive lights or cameras) when needed
- 🟡 Installation and maintenance of the low-tide exit line (yellow rope)
In short: $20/year directly supports the Les Escoumins Dive Center and helps provide a better supported diving experience—before, during and after your time in the water.
The Les Escoumins Dive Center is located at the Marine Environment Discovery Centre, a must-visit destination for exploring the underwater life of the St. Lawrence. For over a decade, Québec Subaquatique and Parks Canada have combined their expertise to offer scuba diving and Nordic freediving activities, creating a memorable and unique experience.

The base will be open according to the following schedule for 2026:
June 6 to June 19, 2026: Every Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
June 20 to September 7, 2026: Daily, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
September 8 to October 11, 2026: Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
October 12, 2026 (Thanksgiving): 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Night dives will be offered on the following Saturdays only:

Underwater Photography Adventure
Discover underwater photography and enjoy a souvenir photo session of you and your group with our experienced photographer-guides.
Learn the basics of underwater photography, including equipment protection, water entry and camera settings.
Receive approximately ten photos of you, your group and the marine life observed during your guided dive, both underwater and at the surface.
Photos will be delivered electronically by email within 72 hours of your dive.
** PADI Underwater Photographer Specialty certification is also available. Contact us directly for additional details.
