Renewal of the Qualification Certificate
As a Level A, B, or C diver
(every 3 years)
…have completed a minimum of ten (10) recreational scuba dives using compressed gas within the past three (3) years, OR
…demonstrate that you have participated in a knowledge and skills refresher session during a dive supervised by a qualified instructor, OR
…successfully pass the exams leading to the issuance of the certificate.
As a Class D diver
(annually)
…be a member in good standing, as an assistant instructor or dive leader, of one of the agencies listed in the regulation’s appendix, AND
…demonstrate that you have participated, during the validity period of your certificate, in at least one four-hour improvement clinic within the past three (3) years.
As a Level A, B, or C Instructor
(annually)
…be a member in good standing, as an instructor, of one of the agencies listed in the regulation’s appendix, AND
…demonstrate that you have participated, during the validity period of your certificate, in at least one four-hour improvement clinic within the past year.
For obtaining or renewing a qualification certificate, please contact an instructor accredited as an issuing agent by the Federation.
