Who are we?
Québec Subaquatique is an outdoor activity federation dedicated to promoting, supporting, and developing underwater activities across Québec. Our mission is to foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all underwater enthusiasts —whether beginners, experts, or simply curious explorers.

Our objectives
Clear objectives to support the growth of underwater activities in Québec
- Ensure the safety of those practicing recreational scuba diving
- Promote underwater activities throughout the province of Québec
- Bring together organizations and individuals interested in underwater activities
- Inform and educate members and the general public in Québec about the benefits of underwater activities and promote them as a leisure pursuit
- Foster the development of organizations, individuals, and the public’s awareness of the benefits of underwater activities
- Represent the interests of Québec’s divers and underwater activity stakeholders at the provincial, national, and international levels
Our areas of action
As an underwater federation, Québec Subaquatique operates in multiple areas
- Representation of underwater activities such as scuba diving, underwater hockey, freediving, and underwater rugby
- Certification of recreational divers and instructors on behalf of the Government of Québec
- Promotion of safety, ethical practices, and physical and mental health
- Site accessibility through an interactive web map to help preserve and showcase dive sites
